We are proud to announce that our shop has just become a Green Certified Business through the Monterey County Green Business Program. We are the first business to be Green Certified in the City of Seaside. We strive to be conscious of our impact on the environment and we felt we needed to do our part to protect the planet and our beautiful Monterey Bay. By going through the process to become certified we were able to become more aware of our actions when it comes to our carbon footprint on the planet. We have been able to incorporate green practices such as using alternative soy based products from lubricants to hand soap. We have switched from a solvent parts cleaning tank to a hot water detergent tank. We install good used parts on customers vehicles when possible. We use recycled paper products and recycle all metals, paper, cardboard, plastics and glass. We keep our shop floor and parking lot clean of leaks and spills at all times so that no toxic substances flow down the storm drains and into the Bay. We encourage our customers to fix any leaks in their vehicles and keep their cars maintained so as not to emit excessive tailpipe emissions. We want our customers to know that we will be doing everything possible to ensure that our auto repair business is as environmentally conscious as possible. Being green is a great investment in our future and the future of this planet.
